Make A Difference

Okay... This video posted below is something that I'm actually very passionate about.
Since my Freshman Year of high school, when I learned about "Invisible Children",
I've always been very interested and very desirous to help.
Although, I haven't truly done anything, I hope one day I can.
This is actually really ironic for me because the other day, I had this completely random
thought pop up in my head.
I want to go to Africa during the summer and I want to help the kids in some way.
I want to somehow help them feel better about their situation.
That's what is important.
Then today on Facebook, I saw people posting this and watched the video.
I know there's not chance I can go for Summer, because of money and
I'm probably too late. But if I have the opportunity to ever do something like this,
I will take it without even blinking.
This is how you make a difference.
I know the video is long, but it is completely worth your time I promise.
Please watch it.
If it doesn't work on my blog for you, watch it on Youtube, Vimeo, etc.
"Kony 2012".

Now on another note, here is another video that I was very touched by.
This girl was born deaf and had a hearing implant put in and could hear for the first time.
Maybe this touched me so much because I've learned so much about the Deaf Culture.
But both these videos brought tears to me eyes.
When I think I'm having a hard day, I'll think of the kids in Africa, who wish death instead of life.
Who are torn from their families by an evil man, forced to hurt others and kill their parents.
I'll think of those who live in fear every time they close their eyes to sleep.
I'll think of this girl, who has never had the ability to hear the song of a bird, the breeze, laughter,
or anything for the matter.
Now she can hear.
As much as this World is evil, there is also good.
We can make a difference.
We can "be the good you wish to see in the World".
Let's do it today,
