Off to Wonderland

Well folks, the day has come.
I am leaving to Italy tomorrow with my sis and never coming back...
Obviously joking there, but the thought is somewhat desirable. If only I could come back
and pick my man and my pup up and take them along with me.
I finished all my finals (without a cold-sore from stress appearing, that is what I call success).
Sucky Winter semester is now over and I can say I am SO glad. I did not like my classes this year.
But I just signed my Fall/Winter contract for next year to live with my best friend from CA
and I am pretty freakin excited. But I will not take my summer time off for granted.
On a somewhat depressing/great note: My cousin Dalton Stanger had his farewell today.
He will be leaving on the Tampa, FL mission on May 2nd, of which I will be traveling the Italian coasts.
I have never had to say good bye to someone for a mission that made me this sad.
I've said goodbye to good friend of mine, but I guess Dalt just holds a special place in my heart.
I guess a great childhood will do that to you. Now what other couple will Madison & I double-date with?
But I'm a proud cousin. Sad, but so so proud.
( The cuzzos: Sam, Dalton, Maddie, and myself)

My blogging recently has bee "down-in-the-dumps".
I've had things to blog about, but I don't have the time, or rarely the internet connection to do so.
Now, I'll be gone for 2 1/2 weeks. Oh well- I'll be too happy to really care.
I guess this is farewell for now fellow bloggers.

Birthday/Easter Weekend

So this was a pretty fun weekend, if you ask me.
It was both Easter & my Birthday. Plus, I got my Friday shifts covered, so it was like a 3 day weekend!
Anyway, on Friday, I woke up, and looked out my window to see it had snowed all night?!
Random, but I didn't mind. I went to Magelbys for some breakfast with Madison & Paige.
Then Madison surprised me with an hour-long massage (lalalaloved it),
went to lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings (a little bit CA), went home and got dressed up,
then headed to City Creek Mall in SLC where Madison took me birthday shopping.
That is where this sweet guy of mine spoiled me with umm 3 new pairs of shoes?!
He has a discount, so my guilt wasn't THAT bad. But I did feel so bad.
But he assured me it was fine and kept making my day feel special.
After that, we headed off to our dinner reservations at a little place called "The Paris Bistro",
which was absolutely delicious. I got honey-glazed chicken and it was probable the best I've ever had.
Not to mention, they brought out the most perfectly-made creme brulee for dessert.
Also, the best creme brulee I've ever tasted.
If you ever find yourself hungry in Salt Lake, trust me when I say go there. Honestly.
Then we headed back to Provo, rented a Redbox and relaxed.
A perfect birthday? Yeah, it's definitely up there. Only thing that could've possibly made it any better
would've been to have my family there, but truly Madison is so thoughtful and made it so fun.
How sweet my roommates are. Decorated my door with hearts that had reasons why they love me written on them. Definitely made me feel good.
Isn't this little restaurant so adorable? So quaint, yet you really feel like you're in a little part of France.

I'm in love with every pair. I'm a happy girl.
This is the necklace my sister made me. Yeah, literally MADE me. She even had it engraved and everything.
It says "Sorella" (sister in Italian) with an infinity sign. I love it.
Not to mention the most adorable outfits my Mom sent me, and the belt that my sister Whitney sent.
And who doesn't like some money with a precious card? Thanks Aarean ;)
So, you can say it was a successful day out of Provo, which is exactly what I needed.
The following Saturday was sunny, warm, and beautiful.
I took Wesley to the BYU track meet where I sat with Paige and KB enjoying the sun.
How cute is this pup. Just relaxed on my lap and watched the runners do their thang.
This is Easter Sunday at my Grandmas, playing some basketball.
Paige- awesome walk/dance move, not quite sure which it was hah
I love Easter. Such a nice holiday to remember what's important and be with family.

Angels

I try not to preach too much on my blog, but I don't think this is being "preachy".
I read this scripture today and it had an effect on me.
You know that moment when you truly think about something, and you realize the depth of it...
This verse is so simple, yet means so much at the same time.
"And whoso receiveth you, there I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up."
(D&C 84:88)
I was thinking about how often I feel lonely, and nervous or afraid of something.

This made me think, I always have someone with me.

His angels are there to "bear me up" and keep me safe.
I don't know if you believe in angels... I do.
I think that is so amazing to think about. When you are down or need help,
Christ surrounds us, and his angels to comfort and protect us.
They may be here right now...
If you don't get the chills thinking about that, I don't know when you would.

Wanna Laugh?

So when I feel like procrastinating, all I have to do is go on Pinterest
and look under the "humor" or "pet" tab, and I'm guaranteed to laugh. Really hard.
I don't know why I find little pictures like this absolutely hilarious.
Truthfully, I have a hard time stopping myself from laughing obnoxiously in the library sometimes.
So if you don't laugh, sorry you wasted your time.
As for me, I could read things like this all day.
(beware a lot of pictures coming up)
 (Lady Gaga)

hahaha
Maybe it was just in the moment?
I know, I know, I have the most random blog on the internet.
