For Thanksgiving this year, my family got together at my sister Whitney's cute little house in Danville, CA.
I couldn't even explain how excited I was to be with everyone again.
The trip was a lot of fun and one I will always remember.
I love all my sisters, my parents, my brother-in-laws, and especially my nieces and nephews.
This holiday is one I am especially thankful for (no punn intended).
This was the view of the sunrise from the plane when we took off to Oakland Airport.
Yeah, we left before the buttcrack of dawn. But hey, that meant more time with my family.
Rachy poo. I do love being around her.
(Before we left, my sister Paige "melted" my air. I wanted something different and temporary. That's why it looks different)
Little Grey. Oh man... he is the cutest, most precious little boy I've ever gotten my hands on. Such a happy camper all the time.
I have to say this year was the best Thanksgiving dinner I've had in a long time. Which is saying a lot because it is always delicious. This year it was just that everything was so flavorful and perfectly cooked.
MMMMMM...
I forgot to take pictures of the food because I was too busy eating it, sowwy
And let me just say everyone was fully satisfied, and after dinner came nap time.
And this is Paige's pushed out food baby.
Black Friday just happened to be Whitney's birthday, so Rach, Aarean, Whit, and I woke up at 5:45 and got to Anthropology at exactly 6:00am. Did a little shopping, then went home only to leave by 8:30 to go to Walnut Creek and do a lot of more shopping.
I had to put this pic of Whitney up. This is exactly at 6:00am when we got to the store.
She was pretty excited, can't you tell? haha I love her very much and hope she had a great birthday.
For her birthday dinner we went to this little Italian place in Downtown Danville, which was delicious.
The street was lit up with Christmas lights and music and was so fun. I love the Christmas spirit.
Sadly, the trip came to an end and back on the plane to Provo I went. The people in the Oakland Airport are strangely nice. I loved it, everyone was so happy.
Then we had a layover in Vegas and not so much.
Thought you may enjoy this picture of Paige sitting in front of me on the plane. She's got a mane like a lion.
Overall, a very successful and happy trip. Now I am just counting down the days until Christmas.
