Remember Who You Are...

This week, on Tuesday morning, President Monson gave the devotional at BYU.
I'm not going to lie and say that I listen to every speaker and get so much out of it,
because I don't. I usually have a hard time staying awake (which sounds bad).
I don't know what it is about listening to monotone speakers, but it's like a pacifier for me.
Anywho,  President Monson gave such a great talk.
I love how he is kind of goofy, and the kind of airy tone he has in his voice.
I'm not going to give all the details about the devotional, but just a couple things.
He spoke about being an example of the believers, letting our light shine.
My favorite part of it all was when he quoted "The Lion King".
“Look inside yourself. You are more than what you have become. Remember who you are. Remember.”
This sent chills through my body and made me open my eyes a little bit wider.
It truly was such a great talk, if you have the chance to read it, do so.
I'm not meaning to sound preachy or anything like that, just sharing my thoughts which is exactly why I made this blog in the first place.
If you'd like to read more, visit
I know it's just a Disney movie, but really if you think about what is being said, it's more than that.

Anddddd, the day got even better when I walked outside with Madison and it was lightly snowing.
There was tiny little snowflakes all over my jacket, and I was lovin it.
So I made him take a picture with me, since it was the first time I'd really felt snow there. I was excited. I know you can't see the snow, but it's there.
