Yesterday, as I was putting on my running shoes, I told Madison how much I couldn't wait for new ones because mine were so old.
He ran down to his car and came back up with a bag.
He wished me an early Merry Christmas and handed me the bag.

Really nice, new running shows.
I usually don't like early gifts but I got really excited.
He told me not to forget he gave me those when Christmas Day rolls around.
Knowing him, he's got a lot more up his sleeve.
I'm so lucky to have someone who is so thoughtful and giving like he is.
