This picture perfectly explains how my lovely morning went.
So last night I went bowling with a small group of people including my boyfriend Madison, my cousin Dalton, his girlfriend, and some other friends. I went to pick up Madison, and he decided he wanted to take his car so I parked in front of his apartment complex. So everyone had a good ole' time bowling, then we went back to Dalton's house to eat and watch a movie. Later on, Madison dropped me off at my dorm, completely forgetting that my car was at his place.

So this morning I wake up at 6:50a.m so I would be able to make it to a study session for my biology class (the good little student I am), and I walk outside to find my car missing. I probably stared at that empty parking space for literally 2 minutes before it dawned on me that my car was parked in front of Alpine Village Apartments.
So I gave Madison a call and, the sweet guy he is, got out of bed to pick me up so I didn't have to walk. So we pull up to where my car is parked and, of course, there is a nice, metal boot around my tire. I guess you can't park there overnight.
Awesome.
After calling the parking company, I waited for them to show up and had to pay a fine of $50.00. Since I'm a freshman in college, 50 bucks is kind of a big deal.
By the time I got in my car, it was too late to go to my study session because the seats were most likely full. So what did I do? Went straight back to bed until my class started at 11:00am. Lucky for me, there will be another study session on Monday.
Now don't think I am a negative person, because really I like to think I am somewhat of an optimistic kinda gal, but this morning was just no bueno.
But now I am off to a better day and weekend, since it is Friday.
Also, it's the Homecoming football game tonight, General Conference all weekend, and I have just turned in both of the papers I've been working on..
Just those few reasons make me oh so happy.

pahahahahah yes I like that you have a blog now. I do I do. Just do what dad use to do...he would let air out of his tires and rip those suckers right off. But I don't think you can do that anymore...don't they go all the way around the tire? Either way...I hate those booter guys...they are the worst!
ReplyDeletehaha he would. My idol... hah the boot only went around half my tire so maybe I couldve if I knew a thing about cars which honestly I don't. thanks for being the only one who comments on my blog <3 haha but really
