Mountains to Climb

This video holds a message that I know so many people need to hear.
No matter what trial we are enduring, we need never feel alone for we are always in the Lord's service.

Dating Anniversary #4

(He'd kill me if he knew I posted these pictures. As you can see, we were a little unprepared haha)
This past Thursday, Feb. 7th, marked the 4 year "anniversary" with Mr. Madison.
I feel a little strange saying anniversary, just because I feel like that should be used for marriage,
so I'll call it dating anniversary?
Anyway, 4 years ago I went to the Winterformal dance with him and on the dance floor,
he asked me to be his girlfriend. I believe we were dancing to Of Boys and Men?
Gosh that's so high school and so cheesy.
But hey- still a cute memory!

I never thought I'd be where I am in my life, with him.
I never saw myself dating one person the way I have, but that just goes to show you that you never know!
I'm so blessed to have him as my significant other.
I truly am so grateful from the bottom of my heart.
Happy 4 year "dating anniversary" Madison, I love you.

Did I mention how he spoils me? I don't think I am high maintenance...
but I will say I do love how he spoils me!
He surprised me with a new Cannon Rebel T3I!
I couldn't contain myself and now my pictures will be perfecto.
I'm so excited!

January '13

I don't know what is going on with me lately, I just never feel like I have anything to blog about.
Since I haven't posted anything this year so far, I figured why not write about the month of January.

From the beginning...
I went home for Christmas for 11 days.
I love being around my family and it's so nice to come home once in a while.

New Years Eve, Madison and I made reservations at a restaurant in SLC called The Roof.
It was an amazing buffet of food, food, and more food. And I wasn't mad about it.
I chose not to do the "college" New Years Eve where you go out to a party and pay way too
much to get in and then it's just stupuid people on drugs that don't know
how to behave as a sane human being.
Yeah, it's so entertaining, but not worth my money.
So a quieter, more relaxed night where we did something different was perfect.
Probably my favorite New Years yet!

I was then lucky enough to have my oldest sister Whitney come into town with my nephews and neice.
We went sledding, swimming in the hot springs, and just hung out.
I wish so badly that I could see them more.

Now here is my least-favorite announcement... I slid into a pole.
Stupid Ice.
I was driving in my parking lot (which is horribly concstructed) and slid right. into. a. pole.
And now, poor Boo-Boo (my car's name) is seriously injured.
I know she ain't pretty, but this car has been a trooper.
Never has given me problems, and this is how I repay her. I actually feel legitimetely guilty.

This month, I rented a puppy for 2 hours.
It was beautiful.
Just for 2 hours, Wes had someone to play with and I always am up for puppies!
They delivered the puppy to my apt, and picked him up 2 hours later.

Now I'm back in classes, written 2 papers (which isn't that bad considering I'm 1 month into this semester)
and right now, slightly sleep-deprived.
But hey, I'm a lucky to have the opportunity to go to BYU.
Plus, I have this little guy to cheer me up ever day.

  So, there ya have it.
Now you're updated on my 2013.
